This project was carried out in a mountain holiday home that combines private use with guest accommodation. Our role was to deliver the complete interior fit-out with bespoke furniture throughout the entire building. We were not involved in the architectural design or layout of the house. Our focus was solely on the manufacturing, surface finishing and installation of all interior elements. The goal was to create a cohesive, calm and functional interior that not only looks good but also performs well in everyday use. Each space has its own character, yet the whole house is connected by a consistent material concept, attention to detail and honest craftsmanship.
In the main living and shared areas, we primarily worked with natural oak veneer. It appears on kitchen units, built-in furniture, wall cladding and ceiling elements. The oak veneer was oiled in our own finishing workshop, allowing us to fully control the colour tone, texture and final surface quality. Kitchen worktops were made from Corian solid surface material, chosen for its durability, easy maintenance and clean, seamless appearance. The result is an interior that feels natural, timeless and designed for long-term use.
A key part of the project is the shared common room intended for guests. Here, we continued with the same material language and overall approach. All bespoke furniture was designed with higher operational load and daily use in mind. Large dining tables, benches, kitchen units and storage elements are robust, clear in form and easy to maintain. The emphasis was placed on simplicity, functionality and smooth continuity between individual elements, ensuring the space feels open and comfortable even when used by a larger group. The result is a practical space that still maintains a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
In the apartments, we kept the same core approach while introducing greater variation in colour tones. The foundation is a combination of oak veneer and lacquered surfaces with an ultra-matt finish. All lacquered elements were finished in our own spray workshop, ensuring consistent quality across the entire project. The ultra-matt NANO lacquer is resistant to fingerprints and retains its appearance over time, which is essential in accommodation environments. Each apartment has its own atmosphere, yet all fit seamlessly into the overall concept and form a coherent, well-balanced interior solution.
